Re: TURBO OR SUPERCHARGE?
A Supercharger is run by a belt, usually from the crankshaft, so does need a certain amount of power to work first. The power is much smoother and will never suffer any lag.
A Turbocharger is bolted to the exhaust (usually at the manifold) and is fed by exhaust gases. Power takes a while to build up because the internal propellers need to spool up, thus giving 'Turbo Lag'. Power can cut in very suddenly when the turbo gets up to speed.
Another option is Variable Valve timing, I.E
Toyota's VVTi
Honda's VTEC
Ford's VVT
These Provide good performance at high RPM while being economical in the lower revs.
I'd go for a tuned up VTEC on throttle bodies tbh

Re: TURBO OR SUPERCHARGE?
Supercharge for me because when you hit the higher gears will fly past lots of cars and they won't know what hit them plus I like the sound of one working

Re: TURBO OR SUPERCHARGE?
Thing with a turbo is the power isn't there to start with have to wait for it to build up and the lag puts me off really.
