whats better?
would you prefer to have a N/a engine, turbod engine or a superchargered engine?
which is better in your opinion and why

Re: whats better?
yeah turbo all the way in my eyes, but do love a good n/a car myself with the roar of 250bhp plus on throttle bodies and carbs, can be quicker than a turbo car of same power lol
Re: whats better?
Definetely a supercharger especially on a classic mini with straight cut gears love the wining noise it makes

Re: whats better?
in all honesty i can't choose between the 3, they're each best at a certain application, turbo for the fact that it can make an engine produce some serious power, especially in the case of the evo 8 fq400, the supercharger has the classic whine and works best on super size v8's (koenigsegg ccx, mustangs, monaro vxr 500 etc) and n/a is good because even though you generally won't make more power than a forced induction engine of the same capacity throttle bodies sound properly nice, you dont get turbo lag, or a whine (which lets face it is gonna become annoying after a while) also theres less to go wrong with an n/a engine
Re: whats better?
well said mate couldnt agree with you better on that but just wondering what everyones opinions are, i mean i would always have n/a or turbo, bet turbo cars dont have to be laggy if they specd right.
Re: whats better?
i'd probably prefer a turbo. i think its gives a better driving effect, but thn i dont know what im moaning about!!

Re: whats better?
I would have to say N/A only because every turbo'd car I ve owned has never lasted. They certainly dont suit my driving characteristics.
